Wilkes Heritage Museum
A beautiful addition to Wilkesboro history and community, the Wilkes Heritage Museum was originally the old Wilkes County Jail back in 1860. Reopened in 1968, with the intent of being the county jail once again the building eventually became a museum to honor the history of Wilkes County. This museum is accompanied with an internal bookstore, along with the McNeil Genealogy Collection. Cub Creek Park
