The 2019 Nissan Altima has exciting new technology and standard features. Here at McNeill Nissan in Wilkesboro, NC, we are here to tell you what you can expect in the new 2019 Nissan Altima. There are 5 trims of the 2019 Altima: S, SR, SV, SL, and Platinum.

The 2019 Altima has two new standard engines. The first is the 2.5-liter Dig engine. It’s a 4-cylinder engine that gets decent gas mileage. The second engine is perhaps the more exciting of the two, and available on the SR and Platinum trims. It is the Variable Compression Turbo, or the VC-Turbo V6, which has a fuel economy of a 4-cylinder engine, but the power of a 6-cylinder.

This vehicle also comes with Intelligent All-Wheel drive—the first for a Nissan sedan. This means that the road conditions are monitored by this system to assist the driver. The power sent to the wheels are adjusted based on what suits them best for the road and weather they are driving in.

Driver Assist and Other Technology

So, what is all available on this new sedan? Nissan has an impressive amount of driver assist technology. This includes a variety of standard and optional features. Now, here are some features available to assist the driver in the 2019 Nissan Altima; Automatic Emergency Breaking, Rear Automatic Breaking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Lane Interventions, and Intelligent Around View® Monitor.

There is also a remote engine start system with intelligent climate control available. This means that when you remotely start your vehicle, the temperature on the inside of the car responds to how hot or cold it is outside. So, if it is hot outside, the inside will cool down, and vice versa.

The Altima uses a Bose® audio system, and has the Bose® Premium Audio System available. This means that there are 9 speakers in the vehicle to help enhance your audio experience.
