2017 Nissan Maxima With Standard Apple CarPlay
The standard engine for both the 2016 Nissan Maxima and 2017 Nissan Maxima is a 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 300 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque. Responsive power doesn't mean sacrificing fuel economy in either model, as both models achieve up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. With a starting MSRP of $32,560 for 2017, the Nissan Maxima is a sedan offers luxury, comfort and power without costing an arm and a leg.
The big changes for 2017 come on the inside of the Maxima. This year, the Maxima is the first Nissan vehicle to come with standard Apple Carplay. Use the bright and colorful first-row touchscreen to connect devices and utilize apps from your Apple smartphone. Voice-activated navigation is another standard feature for the Maxima, but the change for 2017 allows you to move the navigation screen onto your dashboard for easier viewing. There's no need to take your eyes of the road when you're behind the wheel of the high-tech 2017 Nissan Maxima.
On top of these changes, lucky drivers of the new Maxima can still enjoy the exciting features that came on last year's model. Both the 2016 and 2017 Nissan Maxima have a standard eight-speaker audio system and standard steering wheel audio controls. Optional safety features include Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Moving Object Detecton, Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency Braking.
